I am a writer, wisdom teacher, (I didn’t really apply for that job – IT found ME), author of the book, Spirit of the Rising Hawk: How to Soar Through Life with Power, Purpose, Perspective, and Peace.
I really, really didn’t want to share the English translation of the mantra that I shared in the post: http://risinghawk.wordpress.com/2012/06/25/file-under-incredible/, but I did it anyway. Doing so opened my eyes to a larger reality, and led to a change in name for this blog.
Admittedly, the English translation of the mantra that I shared is far less energetically charged than the mantra itself, (which is much shorter, and flows off the tongue like a the sound of a gentle breeze or a babbling stream), but I still didn’t want to part with it. My ego said, “No, that’s YOURS, and no one else can have it.” I shared a piece of my soul, and that it isn’t an easy thing to do. But, the spiritual part of me won out, believing that maybe someone would be blessed by it. [I'm still holding on to the mantra sound itself, though . . . I'm not finished discovering all that it has to offer].
So, during meditation the morning after revealing that translation, I came to realize that this entire blog, (330+ entries as of this update), and my life for at least the last ten years, has been an eclectic “ministry of potential.” Not so much a ministry as a bastion, a fortress. So, today I changed the name of the Blog from Lord of the Dragons to the new title, The Fortress of Potential. I changed the look of the blog, too. It only seemed appropriate to do so since it is a “rebirth” of sorts, though the content hasn’t changed. You will notice, though, that previous blogs are signed “LOTD,” which was short for “Lord of the Dragons.” Now they are signed with my middle name, Rising Hawk, or RH. [Yes, that is my real middle name]
There is no church, and no formal religion involved. All religions of peace are respected, or no religion at all is fine, too. Spiritual growth is what matters, not the framework through which it comes. I wrote what serves as a basic, Foundational Text, my philosophy for successful living, in the aforementioned book, “Spirit of the Rising Hawk,” http://www.amazon.com/Spirit-Rising-Hawk-Through-Perspective/dp/0980234506/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top, and everything else that I have shared on this blog has expanded upon it.
No, there aren’t millions of people who have read the book, nor are there millions of people who read this blog . . . yet; but that doesn’t change anything. The Fortress Of Potential is a collection of encouragement, sometimes “prophetic utterances”, sometimes direct teachings, and sometimes just sharing what happens in my life as an example to others of what can happen. Life is nothing but potential and unlimited possibilities, and that is what I am usually saying in one way or another with everything that I write. And a great deal of it is tied to mantras and the power of sound/vibration.
That’s why I had to share the mantra I wrote of above, and will continue to share the magic of what I experience and learn as I travel through life. It has helped many, and I hope that it will continue to do so.
The message is tolerance, love, compassion, success, and the power of nature, sound and vibration to change your life and health – along with learning to defeat the mental dragons that would attempt to crash your life into a solid wall.
If you discover anything on this blog that you feel could be of help to someone you know, feel free to share it on Facebook or other social media, or e-mail them the link to the message.
Many Blessings To All…

Most Blessed Shimasani (Lynn),
Your capacity and desire to “be” love, and your kindness, have always astounded me. You are an inspiration, with much to give that will be of great benefit to all of humanity.
I accept your kind words with a full heart, but you have received nothing from me. If you have been blessed in any way from words that “I” have said or written, it was not from me, but “through” me. And, in truth, it is “me” that receives the greater blessing.
In the end, I can only be a vessel through which your own Self, the ONLY Self, reminds you of that which you have always known. I cherish those moments when “I” am silent, and Truth gets to speak.
You are far more powerful than you know. Stay in faith…
Many Blessings,
Greg
